Scripture Sunday...

Be more concerned with how you look to God than how you look in the mirror.

*~*~*

So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men,
but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Scripture Sunday...

God is more likely to speak to you in a gentle whisper than in a loud voice.

*~*~*

If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” And He was saying to them, “Take care what you listen to. By your standard of measure it will be measured to you; and more will be given you besides.

Scripture Sunday

If a care is too small to be turned into a prayer,
it is too small to be made into a burden.

Casting all your care upon Him;
for He cares for you.

Dear friends....

Dear friends,

I want to apologize for not posting as of late.  My Father took a bad fall on 3/18/13 which landed him in the hospital until 4/6/13 with many fractures on his spine and three broken ribs.  He is home now walking with a walker, my Dad and my Mom need much care going forward.  As you may remember I am taking a trip, leaving this upcoming Saturday and returning either 5/18 or 5/19.  My parents know how important this trip is to me to bond with my new siblings and are insistent I go and have fun, I plan on it!  I have been running to their home in the evenings after I get off work to do laundry, grocery shop, run various errands to pick up prescriptions, banking, dog grooming, barber, weekly hair appointments.  Needless to say I am ready to take this two week vacation.  I have care for my parents and have every angle covered while I am gone on my trip.  When I return my parents will be moving in my home and this will help me greatly.  This way in my free time I can prepare their home to “hopefully” sell.  I believe once my parents are under my roof I will have much more time to write my posts, which I so enjoy!  I can’t wait to post again and share so much more with you.

God Bless You ALL!

Scripture Sunday

He who cannot forgive breaks the bridge over which he himself must pass.

If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you,
your Father in heaven will also forgive you.

Fr. Pedro Arrupe

Nothing is more practical than
finding God, than
falling in Love
in a quite absolute, final way.
What you are in love with,
what seizes your imagination, will affect everything.
It will decide
what will get you out of bed in the morning,
what you do with your evenings,
how you spend your weekends,
what you read, whom you know,
what breaks your heart,
and what amazes you with joy and gratitude.
Fall in Love, stay in love,
and it will decide everything.
